Luton Angling Club Weekly News Report 16/4/2017

Our qualified coaches were on hand at the Stockwood Park Country Fair on Easter Sunday & Monday arranging fishing related activities for the youngsters. A Luton Angling Club junior membership is only £5 for a whole year and lets you take your child (under 16) to a vast amount of waters to enjoy all the benefits the outdoors & fishing provides. Even if you are not an angler then bring your children to one of the many Taster Fishing events we are holding through the summer as we will be delighted to see you (keep an eye on our Facebook page for the dates). Luton AC recently secured a Lottery & Sport England grant to help us attract youngsters into fishing and so far its going very well. We have now been able to fund two level 2 coaches and three level 1 coaches plus equipment such as our brand new gazebo for events. We still have funding available for a further 2 coaches when the right people are found that can dedicate the time and effort that is necessary.
