LAC News Report - Week ending 27th November 2016

 Week ending 27th November 2016

Another week of floods and then cold nights has meant most have stayed at home

GRAND UNION CANAL

For guaranteed bites get along to the Grove Marina which is still producing 20lb+ bags of roach and skimmers along with the odd big rudd in the early pegs closest to the pub and lock. Fish maggot or chopped worm at 7m and you wont go far wrong. Photos from a catch this week are below.

We are allowed to park in the pub car park and walk carefully across the lock otherwise park at Grove Church and be prepared for quite a walk

Braggers chose to switch their proposed match from a recently moody Slapton on the Grand Union Canal to the Ouse at Biddenham. Twenty two fished with 12lb 6oz winning from one of the early pegs, 10lb 5oz was second from peg 29 and third was 6lb 4oz from peg 23
