 WYBOSTON TRACK UPDATE

At last some dry weather and the start of the 2018 campaign to improve the track. The club have come up with £2000 towards this years works but are looking elsewhere for more cash as it will need lots of work and funds through 2018.
Good work by those that volunteered their time on Saturday 14th April, a big thank you from everyone at Luton AC. Whilst we have only scratched the surface (excuse the pun!) its a great start in the right direction. Next track work party is Sunday 29th April starting at 9am and as usual all volunteers are very welcome.

Terry Willison tempted a 29lb 15oz common on Mad Baits,

Harry Holmes banked a 24lb 8oz common on a single bait cast to showing fish

SOUTH LAGOON
Simon Heath managed the largest reported pike for some years when he slipped the net under a 25lb 9oz specimen.

A 19lb 5oz pike was caught by Wojciech Dunaj and then the following day Pawel Ceks caught the same fish.

BECKERINGS RESERVOIR
We are hearing that the Half Lin was caught Friday night 13/14th April from Beckerings Reservoir by an undisclosed angler at 34lb from peg 23. Great result if the information is correct.
