Luton Angling Club Weekly News Report for the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & St Neots Cambridgeshire Area - Week Ending 19th January 2025

Here is the latest news information and catch report round up from Luton Angling Club.
Still very little to report this week as is normal for this time of the year with cold and wet weather keeping people at home.

There have been no catch reports submitted this week. Please do send in any reports if you get out fishing. You don't have to bag up for your report to be featured - all reports are appreciated even if you don't catch! Just let us know venue conditions tactics you used, or some pictures of the river, lake or the wildlife.

Our Lavendon car park gate and some of the fencing was completely destroyed this week and even the gate posts were completely ripped from the ground. We believe this was done by Ram raiders who we think hid stolen farm machinery prior to it being used in a nearby supermarket cashpoint heist. As a result, we've had to temporarily install a much narrower gate to secure the car park until the new gate and posts are delivered. It is just about wide enough for most vehicles if care is taken,

I got my Land Rover through easily. Thanks to Neville Hunt, David Murdoch, Fergal O'Kane and Roger Bland for sorting this today. We'll install the new large gate ASAP.

That is all we have for you this week.
