Luton Angling Club Weekly News Report for the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & St Neots Cambridgeshire Area - Week Ending 22nd October 2017

BECKERINGS RESERVOIR

Jack Woodham had a nice pike of 15lb.

Carl Clark tempted a 20lb 7oz common on a Hydrabaits TNT pop up fished over TNT freebies.

Young Callum added to his tally of good fish with 2 carp, 3 bream and a good sized pike using Thripster berry.


RIVER GREAT OUSE BIDDENHAM
Fergal O'Kane caught another 3lb+ perch from Biddenham with his latest one tipping the scales at 3lb 5oz.

RIVER GREAT OUSE WYBOSTON
Craig Gibson tempted a 3lb 6oz perch from the clubs day ticket stretch at Wyboston.  The river is well known for its specimen perch, pike, zander, carp & chub just turn up and fish our bailiff will sell you a day ticket on the bank.

SOUTH LAGOON
Simon Heath has had some good catches of carp lately and has sent us photos of fish to 26lb.






NORTH HOUSE LAKE
Carlo Borromeo continues to catch at North House with his latest common weighing 24lb 4oz caught on Mad Baits Nutz Plus


KEMPSTON LAKE
Kempston bailiff Chris Thripp has had another decent sized mirror on Thripsters mixes.


MATCH RESULTS 

Enfield Highway fished the Grand Union Canal Town North outside Tesco
1st Craig Palmer 38lb 8oz
2nd John Fisher 19lb 6oz
3rd Roger Reeves 11lb 7oz



Potters Bar fished the Grand Union Canal at Stoke Hammond where boat traffic and the level dropping 10inches during the match made for challenging conditions. Biggest fish was a 1lb 5oz perch. No names given

EATON FORD

Eight volunteers braved Saturdays winds and turned out for the work party on the River Great Ouse at Eaton Ford where a new platform was built and meshed.
