Luton Angling Club Weekly News Report for the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & St Neots Cambridgeshire Area - Week Ending 29th April 2018

Any hopes of summer seem to have been dashed this week but fish continue to be caught despite the very wet conditions


KEMPSTON LAKE
Nicholas Goodman managed three doubles all caught on Mad Baits Pear Drop pop ups over Nutz+ and Wicked Whites



Chris Mayhew a 28lb pb mirror from Kempston Lake on only his second trip to the lake resulting in carp of 18lb the previous Wednesday followed by fish of 20lb and 28lb.


NORTH HOUSE LAKE
Ian Trower had an unexpected mirror of 21lb 8oz mirror while float fishing for tench. 

Brian Turner a 17lb 6oz common on Mad Baits Pandemic. 

Filip Dunaj a 23lb 15oz common & 19lb mirror on Mad Baits Compulsive Angler Fish Frenzy pop ups over Mad Baits Addiction freebies.


Robert Barry Hall the Lobe Tailed Common at 26lb 15oz



BECKERINGS RESERVOIR
Kieran Cove tempted three commons from Beckerings Reservoir over his last 2 sessions.



Marc Campion banked a 15lb 10oz common

Nicholas Wright a 20lb 4oz lure caught pike

GRAND UNION CANAL
Rhys Richards has had a good number of carp on Five Star Peach & Pepper fishing evenings and early mornings.






 
Dennis Pratley landed one of our stockies from the Grand Union Canal many were fully scaled and heavily scaled among the 3000 introduced at two locations along the 12 miles we control.


SOUTH LAGOON
Pawel Ceks caught 3x pike and Wojciech fishing with him had a 7lb bream
