Luton Angling Club Weekly News Report for the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & St Neots Cambridgeshire Area - Week Ending 2nd September 2018

BECKERINGS RESERVOIR

Tom Hazell caught his first ever fish from the reservoir in the shape of a 22lb 4oz catfish. 

Jack Rose landed a 25lb common
 
with Warren Griffiths having seven bream to 9lb 12oz
 
and son Ethan three double figure carp. 






KEMPSTON LAKE
Kempston regular Nathan had a double figure common 

and Nicholas Goodman tempted three doubles.





NORTH HOUSE LAKE
Carlo Borromeo landed a 27lb common and 20lb 7oz mirror



 with Brad Pearson having a 3am wake up call with an 18lb common.


GRAND UNION CANAL
Dennis Hunt visited Ivinghoe on the GUC and caught loads of hand sized roach on pinkies along with as many perch and some skimmers. Dennis hooked and lost a number of bigger bream which seemed to be wanting casters. Other anglers fishing hemp nearby caught roach to nearly 1lb
