MATCH REPORT
Toddington Fishing Club visited the Ouse at Wyboston on Saturday 29th September and here is their report -
'The match was enjoyed by us all and although there was no colour there was some extra flow which helped. We fished the first 10 pegs by the roadway and everyone caught fish but some do struggle with 10 feet of weedy water. There were plenty of small roach feeding but no real size. One or two reasonable net perch and for the first time no-one reported pike activity. There were also a lot of very small dace and chub probably yearlings. Top weight was Phil Gander with 9lbs dead, second Dave Britton with 7lbs 15ozs and third Jon Carberry with 3lbs 15ozs. Will look to book some further Saturday knock ups in 2019'
