KEMPSTON LAKE
Simon Jeffries has sent us photos of a 10lb 4oz bream & 8lb 14oz tench which are the best from a long list of good fish he's caught from the lake.
MATCH RESULT
Toddington Fishing Club visited the canal at Slapton which was always going to fish hard in the cold Northerly wind. Our bailiff tells us that everyone packed up two hours early with the match won with 1 roach and second place been filled with a single gudgeon and those were the only fish caught!
The Grand Union Canal between Tiddenfoot in Leighton Buzzard and Stoke Hammond on 12th & 13th November is best avoided as on the Saturday there are 700 runners taking part in a Dirt Half Challenge and on Sunday 150 canoes are on the water in a marathon race.
