Luton Angling Club Weekly News Report for the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & St Neots Cambridgeshire Area - Week Ending 20th August 2017
RIVER GREAT OUSE
Alan Lawrence had a good days fishing on a Luton stretch of the Ouse, landing 9 Perch with 5 of them from 2lb 4oz to this pristine looking 4lb 3oz. All the fish were caught trotting lobworm.
NORTH HOUSE LAKE
Adrian Jaworski tempted three commons to 23lb 8oz
Kieran Turner a 21lb mirror and 19lb common
David Dewar a 19lb 3oz mirror
Gary Pitman an 18lb common
BECKERINGS RESERVOIR
Phil Anderson was carp fishing with boilies on a size 6 hook when a 2lb 3oz roach took a liking to Phils bait. The roach are getting big in the reservoir and there are enough 2lb+ fish to make targeting them worthwhile.
Young Ethan who has attended one of our Lets Fish sessions went on holiday to France with his family and put what he had learnt to good use catching his first ever fish, hopefully the first of very many.
The latest Lets Fish event was held today Sunday 20th August and we hope to have a report and photos next week.
