MATCH RESULT
Bream and skimmers were on the menu for the 4th round of the Sensas Southern Canal League held on the Grand Union Canal at Ivinghoe
With the conditions a lot warmer and the canal coloured this was set to be a great round with big weights needed to frame
Ian Madden (Sensas A4) took the match with a massive 16kilo 250gr (35lb 12oz) of mainly bream at 5 and 9 sections, Ian fed groundbait on both lines with worm, maggot and caster where he kept the fish coming all day on both lines
Carl Steffan (Drennan Bordon) secured 2nd place with 9kilo 50gr (19lb 14oz), Carl caught across on three lines, one with groundbait, one with neat chop worm/caster and another with pellet where he managed to tempt skimmers and bream all through the match
Alan Donnelly (Sensas UK) managed 3rd with 6kilo 850gr (15lb 1oz) catching bream on the far shelf with worm and pellets
