Luton Angling Club Weekly News Report for the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & St Neots Cambridgeshire Area - Week Ending 17th June 2018

KEMPSTON LAKE

Mason Lougher and his dad Mark fished Kempston Lake this weekend. Masons fish went 22-06, 20-04, 19-02, 17-08 & 16-4 with Marks going 16-10 & 12-00 all caught on Sticky Baits. Mason says he would like all anglers to carry a fish care kit as a number of the fish caught had damage to their mouths which was treated, well done guys! 







Dawid Bialocerkiewicz managed 3 fish to 18lb and 3 weeks previous 4 fish to 24lb,






 Artur Szczerbinski landed a 23lb 12oz mirror on 15/6/18


BECKERINGS RESEVOIR
Jack Rose had a cracking 29lb 2oz common on Mad Baits

with Luke Marvin banking the reservoirs largest resident a 53lb+ Catfish on Mad Baits


NORTH HOUE LAKE
Oli Bachini had the Shadow Common at 31lb 14oz on 14/6/18, 


Paul Williams and two friends caught 38 fish from 52 runs in 5 day sessions and 2 overnighters recently all caught on Thripster baits. Brad Pearson 20lb 8oz and 12lb 8oz commons on Thripster Baits. 











Tim Toomey managed Pecs well spawned out 12/6/18. In a previous trip Tim had one of last years heavily scaled stockies at around 8lb plus a 19lb mirror, and commons of 21lb and 25lb all caught on Thripster baits



RIVER NENE
Opening day of the river season saw Wojciech Dunaj land a 70cm pike from the Nene while lure fishing



WOODLANDS LAKE
Matthew Lloyd had a nice size common


MATCH RESULT
Toddington Fishing Club were at Slapton on the Grand Union Canal 10/6/18
1st Colin Macbeth 30lbs 10ozs bream to 4lbs.
2nd Jon Carberry 22lbs 10ozs bream
3rd Dave Britton 8lbs skimmers.

Enfield Highways match at Beckerings Reservoir 17/6/18 fished very poorly on a venue that has been kind to them in the past
