Luton Angling Club Weekly News Report for the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & St Neots Cambridgeshire Area - Week Ending 12th May 2019

 BECKERINGS RESERVOIR

Plenty of good fish being caught with Wayne Bills landing a 55lb catfish 


and then within hours Neil Cox also tempted a large catfish known as The Original at 47lb on a large piece of luncheon meat fished on the second shelf.



Junior member Robbie landed a 20lb 3oz mirror 

while Nathan had a 23lb common and 7lb 8oz bream.


 After his catfish success Neil Cox returned and got amongst the bream with specimens of 11lb 3oz and 10lb.


KEMPSTON LAKE
Mark Austin had a 4 bream catch using simple groundbait feeder tactics with three doubles to 12lb.


NORTH HOUSE LAKE
Brad Pearson fished overnight and was rewarded with two fish to 23lb.



SOUTH LAGOON
Gareth Evans caught his first fish from the lagoon a 9lb pike.
