Luton Angling Club Weekly News Report for the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & St Neots Cambridgeshire Area - Week Ending 28th July 2019

KEMPSTON LAKE

Kieran Cove fished two sessions at Kempston Lake and enjoyed some great sport. On the first session things kicked off with a 20lb 2oz common followed by a 28lb 3oz mirror which was a repeat capture of the 27lb 15oz fish he had the previous week. Next was a 14lb 12oz common before finally capping the session with a 29lb 8oz mirror








Kieran Cove then returned to land four to 29lb 3oz during a quick overnight session.






Shaun Ayris 19lb 9oz mirror and 6lb 8oz bream



NORTH HOUSE LAKE
Rhys Challis caught Pecs at 25lb from North House Lake off the top

Brian Turner on another quick after work session at North House Lake had a 24lb common

Dean Brittain 23lb 8oz common off of the top 'nearly pulled my arm off'! said Dean


Adam DrzaƂ caught a lovely dark common

Filip Dunaj caught 4 carp to 20lb+ including the common known as Popeye plus a nice tench






BECKERINGS RESERVOIR
Rodney Gladston had three to 26lb 3oz on 14mm pop ups.


Mark Arnold a lovely common caught during his first ever session at the reservoir


SOUTH LAGOON
Wojciech 6lb 4oz tench and several bream.


Carlo Borromeo fished through a steaming hot night , but still managed to land x1 common and a scaley beauty over a bed of bait.



Norman Lacey won the £25 June photo competition. Well done to Norman who is one of our oldest members at 82 this year. Norman caught the 31lb+ mirror from North House Lake in June.

Theres still time to enter the £25 July photo competition which is open to all current Luton AC members. It must only be a catch photo from July 2019 and will be judged by the Luton AC Board. The prize goes to the captor and not the person who took the photo. Closing date for entries for July is 1st August 2019. Good luck
